2013 Nebraska High School Football Schedules

The 2013 Nebraska high school football season begins August 12th with the first day of practice followed by Week 0 games starting on August 29th and 30th.  The last weekend of the season (Week 8) is set for October 23rd through the 26th.  The state championship games are set for November 25th and 26th.

Class A - Millard North
Class B - Omaha Gross
Class C-1 - Norfolk Catholic
Class C-2 - Aquinas Catholic
Class D-1 - Elgin Public/John Pope
Class D-2 - Gilter

West wins another Sertoma 8-Man Classic

For the sixth year in a row, the West All-Stars beat the East All-Stars in the 36th annual Sertoma 8-Man Classic on Saturday.

HastingTribune.com reports that the West needed a second half comeback to overcome a 10-point halftime deficit to win 12-10.

Latest Nebraska High School Football Rankings

Millard North has taken over the top spot in the latest Omaha World-Herald high school football rankings.

The Mustangs have ascended to #1 after a 17-7 win over Creighton Prep.  It was Millard North's third straight win over a ranked team to start the season.

Millard North climbs into the top spot after former #1 Lincoln Southeast's loss to Millard South, which climbs to #2 this week.
